TSEHAI Publishers
Founded in 1997, TSEHAI Publishers is the only African-owned publisher and knowledge-production company at any university in the United States, Europe, or Asia since the closure of Howard University Press in 2012. Founded originally to combat the lack of reliable publications on Ethiopia and Africa and publish works otherwise forgotten, the mission of TSEHAI transformed over the years into knowledge production. Now with greater access to Ethiopia, TSEHAI Publishers has further dedicated its mission to improving literacy and literary production within Ethiopia itself. The National Reading Campaign Enanbib, Enabib! will serve as TSEHAI’s first collaborative foray on this widespread, national scale in Ethiopia.
